This is our second visit now and we have been served both times by a lovely waitress called Maddie. Her service is outstanding and she is very attentive of customer needs and ensuring that you are happy with your visit. The food was amazing as always, however as I previously stated.. Maddie made the Toby Carvery Experience a joy and we will definitely be returning!

Very nice place to eat especially breakfast.

Friendly, helpful. Lewis charged my phone as I didn’t have a charger with me and battery on low. My car was in for a service until 3.00pm so I needed to use it soon.

Deesha was our waitress today, she was brilliant. As I'm dairy intolerant she was checking and double checking everything for me, she was backwards and forwards constantly, the food was lovely will definitely recommend and will be going back

The worst experience ever !!!!

The worst experience ever. Tuesday afternoon very quite Waited for 15 mins to get gravy? And another 7 mins to get a measly portion of apple sauce?
All the veg and potatoes were cold? Then waited 12 mins for a desert? Luckily I ordered the bill at the same time as the desert.
Absolutely disgusting food and service.
Would not recommend to an enemy steer clear.

The restaurant was so clean and airy. The customer service from the start was fantastic. I wish I had asked for names, but all the staff were really friendly. The man at reception was very polite and gave us seats near the bar while we waited to be seated, which only took 6 mins. The food was also lovely, just how a carvery should be. As a family of 6 we really enjoyed our Sunday afternoon at Woodford carvery. I also made a request when booking, to be seated on padded chairs and they upheld my request, so we were seated on a table for 6 people with some padded seating. Thank you to all the staff at Woodford Carvery!

Me and my friends come here at least once a week and we love it. It's even better since the recent refurbishment. Joe and his team are just fantastic and very accommodating to us. A big thanks to him, our sever Jill and carvery chef Louise in particular. We all had a really good chat during the 3 or so hours we were there. The pub looks beautiful and the food is really good.

Beautifully refurbished carvery. Friendly attentive staff namely Jill, Donna and chefs Louise and Alex. On arrival we were greeted by The manager Joe and his fantastic staff, all of which are an asset to the company. Food was hot, cooked to perfection as always, plentiful and so very tasty. Love this place and everything about it.

First time we visited since 2022 as our experiance was dreadful then we thought we would give it a second chance this time welcomed front of house as soon as we got throught the door taken to our table drinks order taken straight away food was lovely better choice than last time guy carving was friendly and welcoming as was the rest of the staff they looked happy and no one slacking unlike last visit so we will be visiting again .

Really nice food and service. Renovation has brightened up the inside and made it more modern. Carvery is good value but feel the £4.25 for refillable soft drinks is too much.
